FEATURES
- Lightweight, compact and extremely energy efficient
- Visual Indicators of timing acquisition and synchronizing pulse
- Programmable synchronizing period
- Real Time Clock accurate to 10 μseconds of UTC
- Without the use of wires, any number of flashing lights may be set to flash simultaneously or in any sequence
- Relies on Global Positioning System (GPS) signals for synchronization of the signals ‐ due to GPS’s worldwide coverage, there are no limitations on the numbers and locations of aids to navigation lights that can be sequenced or synchronized; all the navigation lights in an entire country could be flashed together!!!
- Circuitry processes the GPS signal and generates a synchronization pulse that resets the timing of an APCL‐5 FLASHCHANGER®, AM‐8 or AM‐6 LED flash controller
- Each preprogrammed flash rhythm may be synchronized with other lights
- If any portion of the synchronizing circuitry should fail, the light continues to operate in an unsynchronized mode
- The APT2 GLOBALNAV controller and the GPS receiving antenna for the UNIFLASH®‐III system will fit inside a standard 155mm lens, 85mm lens, FA‐165, FA‐85801, and FA‐249801 model self contained lanterns
- Power consumption is so low that the unit may be retrofitted to existing lanterns without any change in the size of the solar power system
